Chris Carty, President & Lead Builder

Chris handles all aspects of construction for the company.  He has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, with the past 8 years primarily building custom homes in Austin.  He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Post Soviet and Eastern European Studies and from George Washington University in 1997 with a Master of Arts in Russian.  He is a Graduate Master Builder, Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Green Professional.

He lives in Hyde Park where he has restored several historic homes.

Nate Carty, Principal, Realtor ® & Investor Relations

Nate handles all banking, real estate transactions and investment duties for the company.  He spent 10 years working on Wall Street and 18 years overall in the finance industry.  He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism in 1998 and from Southern Methodist University with a Master of Business Administration in 2000.  He is a CFA Charterholder.  Nate's real estate license is held with SEED Property Group and his a member ofthe Austin Board of Realtors.

Nate has been active in the Texas Exes since 2003, first with the Dallas Chapter and then the New York Chapter.  He served as President of the New York Chapter in 2007-2008 and has been a member of the Chapter Advisory Board since 2008.  He served a term on the Texas Exes Board of Directors in 2015-2016 as the Chair of the Chapter Advisory Board.  Since June, 2015, he has lived in Austin with his two children, Brianna and Addison.
